Individual Competition

With only four golfers today, Larry, Ernie, Walt and Don, we played individual points with no team bets. Larry won the front by .5. Walt won the back by 1 point. The overall winner was Larry by 1 point.

Thursday Results

With only five players today, (Ernie, Walt, Ron, Don and Bob), we choose to play an individual match based on points. Walt won the front by .5 points. Ron ran away on the back with +7 which was also enough to win the overall.

Duke joined us on the back and we split up in two teams of three to play our regular match. The team of Bob, Ernie and Ron won with a +3.

Team Competition

The title of this posting is misleading. Yes, we had teams. No, we did not have competition. We had two teams of two. The team of Don and Bob should have stayed home and enjoyed the A/C. The team of Brent and Louis would have liked to have played 36 holes, since they won the front, back and overall.

Brent came off Laurel with a 43 and manage to salvage a good round by making two birdies and one bogie to post a 35 on Dogwood for a 2008 best round of 78. Way to go Brent.
