The fields of play today were Azalia and Dogwood. Eleven golfers hit the links. It seems that each team picked a nine to play well and a nine that was a distant second.

The team of Don, Louie and Walt chose Azalia as their nine to post a +9. Dogwood was a ho hum +2 for a total of +11.

Bob, Tommy, Larry and Duke held back on the front with a +3 and went on to rack up a +ll on the back for a total of +14.

Jack, George, Dan and Ron, "we didn't have a par on the front", labored to pull a -1 but soon found those missing pars on the back to score a +8 and +7 for the round.

When all the dust and smoke settled team 1 won the front, team two won the back and overall and team three finished out of the money.
Eight players ventured out today on Dogwood/Laurel. The team competition went as follows:

Don, Larry, Louie and Dan shot a - 8 on the front but then Laurel reared its ugly head and they posted a -4.5 to finish +3 for the day to win the front, tie the back and win the overall.

Brent, Ron, Bob Moody and Tommy had a +.5 on the front and were also bitten by Laurel and shot a -4.5 for a total of -4.
